BLOG UPDATES:

UPDATE: May 20, 2014 -

I will be on the Midday Show on WDAM on June 23rd to discuss the work I've done with arts education advocacy and funding. I hope you will all tune in and give me and the cause support! Thank you to everyone who has been with me along the way. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or comments concerning my work or purchasing some art.

UPDATE: May 15, 2014 -

After OGHS "Black and Gold Revue", I realized how generous so many people are! Darren Dale, the director of the group, as well as the students, were pleased to know that we raised over $300.00 that night. I still have a few pieces left to sell, but I have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of every person who has been involved! I am feeling so optimistic about the final outcome of this year!

I also graduated from the University of Mississippi last week! I was more than honored to have been given a beautiful cord to wear given to me by the Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education for my years of work with them! Dr. Penny Wallin, the director of the MAAE, was so kind to have made sure I had it in time to wear to my graduation ceremony. There are so many wonderful people in this world, and I am just blessed enough to be able to know some of them!

UPDATE: April 21, 2014 -

I will be attending Oak Grove High School's end of the year review show, Black and Gold Revue to sell some truly astonishing pieces! Please encourage friends and family to attend and support a worthy cause! So excited to finally see them perform LIVE! What an amazingly talented group they are!

UPDATE: February 13, 2014-

I have asked the choral directors at Oak Grove High School where they want the funds raised to go once acquired! I have suggested costuming fees. This way, the kids don't have to worry about cost, and they can focus on getting ready for their upcoming performances. I will be sure to upadate you all. Thank you for supporting this website, my endeavors, and above all else, the kids who deserve it! Oh- and Happy Valentine's Day!
